I’m not complaining about my son being shunned, we’re happy- Mzbel to critics

Ghanaian Hiplife musician and entrepreneur, Belinda Akua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel has reiterated that she’s not complaining about her son Kwame Adepa being shunned in school  following his comments about God and religion.

According to her, her family is happy, and her revelation about Adepa being shunned in school was not a complaint.

“I am not complaining that parents are advising their children to stay away from my son. In fact we are happy,” she shared in a post on Instagram.

Mzbel’s comments come after she reacted to a post on Facebook revealing that her son was being treated differently in school following his viral interview.

A Facebook user by the name Voice had shared that some Christian parents might advise their children to stay away from Adepa following the interview.

“After the spectacular and ear-catching interview of #okomfoblack, at his age and the in-depth knowledge he has about our ancestors, at school and his neighborhood, I know the African Ghanaian Christians will start advising their children never to make him their friend, but the good thing is that the gods and the ancestors got your back always champion,” the Facebook user posted.

Mzbel responded to the post saying; “Yes, it’s already happening at his school.”

Mzbel’s revelation caught attention on social media as users have questioned what she was expecting after allowing her son to make such bold comments about a very sensitive topic.
