The Beatrice Azumah Foundation recently made a significant impact on the lives of over 600 BECE students across three schools in the Ashanti Region. The foundation donated essential educational materials, including mathematical sets, pencils, and pens, to Bomso M.A Basic School, Ayeduase M.A Basic School, and Kotei M.A Basic School.
The donation ceremony, held at the PIWC church in Kotei, featured inspiring speeches from esteemed guests. Beatrice Azumah’s mother Martha Azumah, who was instrumental in establishing the foundation, encouraged the students to work hard and pursue their dreams. Serwaa Akoto Ampofo, a former SRC General Secretary at KNUST, also delivered a motivational speech, sharing his personal experiences and emphasizing the importance of education.
Doctor Bright Ampofo emphasized the importance of personal hygiene and shared valuable life skills with the students. Lawyer Mounique also delivered a motivational speech, encouraging the students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.
The event also featured an educational session on ZIPLINE’s innovative blood delivery service, which uses drones to reach remote areas. The students were fascinated by the technology and learned about the company’s mission to improve healthcare access.
Furthermore, ZIPLINE engaged the students in fun and interactive STEM education activities, designed to spark their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The Beatrice Azumah Foundation’s initiative aims to support the educational journey of young students and equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed. The event was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on the students and inspiring them to reach their full potential.
