Shatana Takes On “Liposuction” With A New Song
Ranaya Pappoe, better known as Shatana, a versatile Afrobeat and Dancehall songstress, has added her voice to the debate over women enhancing their body shapes through liposuction.
Shatana, in a brand new song titled “Lipo Lipo,” has warned young girls to avoid liposuction because it is dangerous.
The song, which featured Believer, discussed the serious risks and potential complications of liposuction.
Despite the negative medical consequences, liposuction has suddenly become a maladaptive pattern.
Women, according to Shatana, must develop the habit of appreciating their natural bodies.

Many Ghanaians have expressed their concerns about Ghanaian female celebrities undergoing surgery solely to improve their body shapes.
Liposuction is an elective cosmetic procedure that has major risks. It’s not a substitute for weight loss, and not everyone is a good candidate for it
The long-term side effects of liposuction can vary. Liposuction permanently removes fat cells from the targeted areas of the body. So, if you gain weight, the fat will still be stored in different parts of the body. The new fat can appear deeper under the skin, and it can be dangerous if it grows around the liver or heart.
