Usher Frimpong Moses, a Ghanaian American dance expert has called on producers of UTV’s United Showbiz and host, Nana Ama McBrown to give the vast opportunity that the platforms brings to help propel professional dancers and the culture of dancing.
Usher Frimpong formed the Ghana Dance Association somewhere in 2017 to help propagate goodwill about dance as a profession and culture.
It is in this light that he is appealing to the show executives to give chance to dance on the platform.
In a letter cited on Facebook by digital media curator, Dr Kelly Lartey Mensah, Usher passionately urged UTV to help in the development of dance as it provides massive empowerment and job opportunities for young people especially those in mostly underserved communities.

Over the past two years I have been religiously watching all your Saturdays evening entertainment show, dubbed United Showbiz and I must say I love it and you have served us, Ghanaians with great entertainment topics, discussions, personalities, musicians, actors, comedians, among others.
Please, I think it is about time to consider bringing my fellow Choreographers and Dancers on your prestigious platform to create attention to them as well as bringing uniformity to the showbiz space. Choreographers are also integral part of the entertainment industry and must be treated as such. This opportunities will fill dancers with confidence and also provide a steady growth for the industry.
It is time for us to make the dance industry an attractive one for some of the Choreographers and Dancers in the diasporas to connect for workshops, festivals and other events.
I hope this reaches your desk, Fadda Dickson
Thank you
