African top arts Shatta Wale, Wizkid And Others featured on Beyonce’s Lion King Album

Songstress and Wife of Jay Z Beyonce has featured Shatta Wale and many African artiste on her upcoming Album.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has over some period of time been saying he will put Ghana on the Map and it seems the time is now after the announcement of Beyonce featuring Shatta Wale on “The Lion King: The Gift Album.

Award winning American singer and songwriter Beyonce has featured Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale on ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ Album.

The ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ Album also features a number of African musicians including Wizkid, Me Eazi,Tekno and Yemi Alade,

Beyoncé said in the statement announcing the new album. “This is a new experience of storytelling. I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound. It is influenced by everything from R&B, Hip pop and Afro beats.
