Beatz Makers Battle 2020 Was A Success : Rdee Emerged Winner Of Maiden Edition
On 20th August 2020, Qp Music Production launched the Beatmakers Battle , a competition for aspiring Ghanaian music producers.
A lot of Beatz makers submitted their beats to a panel of music industry professionals, with 16 contestants being chosen to compete in a live setting.
Judges for the night were,legendary music producer/engineer Zapp Mallet, acting president of MUSIGA Besa Simons and producer UBeats .
Friday 6th november 2020,the March anticipated battle took place at the Mikando Event Center in Accra and lasted for four(4) rounds, 16 selected beatz makers from Ghana battled for the ultimate prize , participants going head-to-head playing their beats, until a winner was crowned at the end.
Who Won?
At the end of the third round, Rdee Beatz and Technik Beatz qualified to the finals.
After a series of back to back lively battles of beatz skills, these two finalist made the battle less of a war and more fun, at the end of the final round,Richmond Yeboah known as Rdee Beatz emerged as the winners of the maiden edition of beatz makers battle and is set to travel to canada to represent Ghana in a world beatz makers battle.
