Ghanaian comedian, Abdul Umara Waris has been named as the Best Viral Skits Act of the Year.
Waris, has been impressive ever since he took to comedy as a professional career; from one stage to the other and onto international platforms.
Since the production of good comedy contents has been his hallmark, it’s not surprising to him come out as the winner of his category.
The category which had nominees like; Yieeee, Jiffy, Kwadwo Sheldon, Maame Esi, Magreheb, Mmebusem, Kwadwo Nkansah lilwin, Sdk, Teacher Kwadwo, Ajeezay, Komfo Koke Gets, Kcurtiz, Kwame Oboadie, Tooli, EB Forson, and Comedian Waris saw him emerging out as the winner.
The Comedy and Poetry Awards scheme (COPO) aims at giving recognition to makers and players of the industry.
