CRITICS ON THE LOOSE: DOES EVELYN JUSTIFY SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE?

“I didn’t expect you to marry me, but to have avoided me when I needed you back in school was devastating; the ridicule, the lonely days… you were my friend…” she retorted.

“My intention was not to leave you in this mess. You were just fifteen years old when it happened, with aspirations to complete your secondary education, I had no money, no help and so I had to drop out and join the navy, at least to have some decent earnings tomorrow, and be able to raise a family. How could I have sustained you, me and an unwanted baby at the time? After our encounter, I felt there was nothing to hold on to…perhaps, if you had stuck to your guns and held my hand…“ Kofi replied to Diana with contempt.

With interesting and fascinating dramatic visualizations of pertinent issues regarding casual, pre-marital and marital sex, Evelyn falls on her theatrical and artistic background to discuss these issues which are at the heart of her debut non-fiction, ‘The Sex Trial’, which is set to be launched on Sunday, 29th November 2020 at 1:30 PM at the Christ The King Parish, adjacent the Jubilee house in Accra.
