Efya responds to “performing alongside Wizkid on big stages” controversy raised by Bullgod.

Award-winning Ghanaian singer, Efya has responded to claims that she and R2Bees only socialise with Wizkid when he’s in Ghana, and sit out on performing alongside him on his big stages.

Following Wizkid’s successful history-making concert at the Tottenham Stadium over the weekend, Entertainment Pundit and Artiste Manager, Bullgod had opined that Wizkid only hangs out with Efya and some other artistes, including R2Bees, however, leaves them out when he’s performing on big stages.

“So R2Bees and Efya will smoke, drink and chill with Wizkid anytime he’s in Ghana but can’t join him on international stages and showcase their talents to the world? Again Ghana missed out on national duties at the 62,850 capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, yesterday. What is wrong with us?” Bullgod shared on Facebook.

Bulldog’s concern generated a lot varied reactions on social media, and Efya has taken to her Twitter page to explain why Bullgod is in the wrong.

According to Efya, she has the utmost respect for Wizkid and his talent, however, she’s not able to perform alongside him due to many factors.

“When it comes to performing on big stages, there are various factors involved that people may not be aware of. Scheduling conflicts, prior commitments, and logistical constraints sometimes make it challenging to accompany Wizkid on every single performance. It doesn’t diminish my dedication or the fact that I have also played on countless international stages,” she tweeted.
