Iwan Suhyini Seeks For Listenership And Attention From Ghanaian Music Lovers
Iconic Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Abdul Razak Issahaku, widely known as Iwan Suhyini, has pleaded with music lovers to pay attention to his craft.
The Thanks And Praise hit maker was on Zeal Nana Kweku Bliss’ Class Xtra on Class FM in the afternoon of Saturday, March 2, 2024. He had Singjay and Boblican, who are two of the amazing artistes lined up to perform at the Let’s Celebrate Ghana Independence concert with him in the studios of Class FM.
The experienced songwriter and singer, who has recently added sound engineering to his list of professions, has been releasing great musical works despite the lack of attention from the other stakeholders in the music industry. He spends a chunk of his time in supporting upcoming artistes around him as he occasionally produce riddims and gets a number of artistes, including the upcoming ones, to exhibit their skills on them.
When asked for one thing he would want Ghanaians to do for him, Iwan Suhyini just made mention of listenership and attention.
“Errrm… Music is communication. So, whatever I want them to do for me is in my music. So, They should just give me attention and listenership. We are having tracks coming up” he added.
The Lyrical Gunshot, as he is affectionately called, always focused on getting the fans happy and entertained. He is coming up with a great event tagged “Let’s Celebrate Ghana Independence”. The event is scheduled to take place at the Taggetz Night Club at Caprice on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. This project is basically to create a platform to help upcoming artistes to show their musical capabilities. It also provides pool side and musical performances for the fans who will troop in to experience the charged up atmosphere.
Iwan Suhyini, who is now an independent artiste, opened up on his upcoming collection, The Ancient EP, which is expected to be released in April 2024. The 7-track collection, which was supposed to be released last year, was delayed due to few challenges he encountered while working on the project. The Acient EP consists of Dancehall, Afrobeats, and a new side of Iwan Suhyini. He has the likes of Gideon, The Return, One Joint, Rainbow, among others, to his name as well.
It will be beneficial to both Iwan and the Ghanaian Music industry if the pleas of the multiple award winning Reggae Dancehall artiste is being permitted. Iwan Suhyini has a lot up his sleeves to offer in pushing the Ghanaian music to every corner of the world.
