Demma Envy, which featured another budding hip pop artiste Gilrado — has been trending for weeks and got the whole Kpong shaking on their feet. A start-up record label, GMG, noticed how fast the track is breaking boundaries, that they were forced to quickly sign Jah Rankin. The label insisted that, they feared the artiste may get poached by another label if they do not sign him quickly. Hence, GMG signed Jah Rankin on Nov 5 2021, the night of the premiere of the Video for Demma Envy.
But who is Jah Rankin? Well, one of his die-hard fans answered the question for us. That, he is a respected serial hitmaker, who is notoriously loved and hated by a lot of his peers because of how girls flock to him. A month ago, one of his own friends got him arrested because of some squabbles over a girl — the fan attested. His talent, good looks and affable personality melted in one pot has been a recipe for disaster. He is known for his versatility as an afrobeat, drill/hip pop rising falcon!
