The term sugar daddy which is mostly referred to Rich old men has been very common and popular inthis twenty first century and this topic has been discussed on major media platforms in Ghana, to add up to this issue is Top Ghanaian female broadcast journalist, Debbielyn Jackson, she has stated that,most guys are the reasons why young ladies are dating sugar daddies,(Papa No).
Debbielyn Jackson who isn’t fun of relationship/dating and has made a vow not to date until she is ready to marry made this statement on her social media page whilst she was advising and motivating her fans and viewers of Hitz Factory show.
According to the host presenter of Hitz Factory show,she said,most young ladies are chasing and running after sugar daddies because of some bad attitude and behaviours of some careless guys. Ohemaa said a lot of guys are soo careless to extend that,they even don’t value and cherish the ladies they are in relationship with. These guys go into relationship with no purpose,all their motives in a relationship is to have sex with these beautiful ladies and later dump them since sex has become soo cheap. She said, these so called guys don’t even know how to take good care of the ladies they claim they love. Ohemaa prove the wrong said,”the fact that am not in any relationship doesn’t mean I don’t care and feel the pains some ladies go through in their relationship.
Debbielyn again said,a real man/guy spoils his lady with attention, affection,respect,honesty, loyalty,money and above all love but a lot of ladies are lacking all these in their relationship with guys but rather finds these things and get it when they date sugar daddies (Papa No) that why they keep on chasing and dating them. She said, there is a proverb in Akan which says “aboa biaa didi k) beebia n’asomu b3dwe no” that why these beautiful ladies goes after these sugar daddies because for them,they really know how to take good care of them and values them as well and without using them as sex machines.
Later she advised these guys that,if they good ladies,they get should let the ladies know,they should tell them as soon as they can,they should make sure these ladies feels and knows it,they should honor and cherish them because the special ones are rare and few and everyone doesn’t get a second chance. Let the one you love know today before they leave you and chase these sugar daddies. She said guys need to be romantic at times, sometimes surprise your ladies with nice presents,they deserve it. Ohemaa said,women/ladies becomes the reflection of how you treat them and if you don’t like how she’s acting,then you should look at how you are treating her.
