Music and visual artist, Worlasi Joins Children To #Reimagine A Better Future For World Children’s Day 2020
The 20th of November every year marks World Children’s Day and children and adolescents around the globe take over various spaces and platforms and speak out about issues that matter to them.
In light of the child rights crisis brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, this years celebration focused on reimagining a better world for every child.
This year, Worlasi, a child rights champion and artist supported the Department of Children of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection and UNICEF to help children express their desires for a better future through art.
Worlasi looks forward to working with children to develop their artistic talents in the coming year.
Raphael Worlasi Langani known in ShowBiz as Worlasi is a native of Agbozume in the Volta Region of Ghana. He is a musician and a visual artist. His abilities cut across music and figure painting.
Worlasi’s album “The Man and The God” is said to be one of the best albums coming from Ghana in 2019 for which his song “Worzor” was nominated as “record of year” in 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He also runs one of the biggest Music and Arts festival in Ghana known as “Worlafest”.
