Shatta Wale fined GH¢2,000 over fake gun attack story
Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah, referred to in Broadway as Shatta Wale has conceded to distribution of misleading news.
He has since been fined GH¢ 2,000 in default of which he will be detained for three (90 days.
This was after he changed his supplication from not blameworthy to liable before His Worship, Emmanuel Essandoh of the Circuit Court 4.
The questionable artiste was welcomed under the steady gaze of the Court for distributing via online entertainment, predictions of death which he asserted were about him.
His legal counselor, Jerry Avenogbor, let the Court know that he was a first-time wrongdoer who was sorry of the demonstration.
The arraignment then again, drove by ASP Maxwell Oppong didn’t go against the adjustment of supplication.
Shatta Wale was captured in October 2021 for publicizing bogus cases that he had been fired in a firearm assault on him in Accra.
Before his capture in an extensive Facebook post, he was sorry to his fans and individuals who had been impacted by the trick.
As per him, he took the telephones of the colleagues and made the fake post.
He made reference to a prophecy that was made by a preacher that he would be shot dead on October 18, 2021.
As indicated by Shatta Wale, he was shocked that the security administrations couldn’t give him protection after that prescience, consequently his choice to arrange the phony assault.
His turn anyway saw far reaching judgment from general society, with many requiring the artiste to be punished.
