French Actor Omar Sy shared a video snippet on his social media as he introduces the continuation of one of the most popular Netflix series “Lupin 3” which is set to hit the screens on October 5.
Assane Diop played by Omar Sy takes the famous literary gentleman thief and master of disguise, Arsène Lupin, as his inspiration to avenge his father’s death.
Netflix has confirmed Lupin will be back on the screens stirring up conversations as audience prepares for the next chapter, following previous seasons massive viewership on the streaming platform.
While Lupin isn’t strictly based on a true story, it certainly seems to have drawn some inspiration from real-life events. In the series pilot, the necklace Lupin steals from the Louvre once belonged to Marie Antoinette.
