Amanie Fm together with Islamic Scholars and Chiefs, officially launched Qur’an Competition in Ablekuman Central Assembly.

Over the weekend Amanie fm in collaboration with association of Islamic Schools in Ablekuman Central Municipal Assembly officially launched the maiden edition of Qua’an competition which was successful held at Lartebiokorshie, Town council Line park.

The event which saw in attendance a lot of distinguish guests and Chiefs around the vicinity graced the occasion with their respectable outfit and made it one of a kind.

The chairman for the gathering Mallam Adamu Baako (aid to the Zongo Chief) headed the gathering with his wisdom as Imam Swaalah (Town Council Line Imam) begun the gathering with a prayer.

There were also Qur’an recitations from Azhariya Islamic School, Nizwaamiya Islamic School, Nizwaamiya Islamic School, Answaru Deen Islamic School, and other great schools that were present.

Madam Nortey of Amanie Fm spoke about purpose of gathering and eventually why the launch of the Qur’an competition. In her submission she expressed her profound gratitude to the chiefs and honorables presents and highlighted some few things the station (AMANIE FM 93.3) will like to rollout to help the community and the qur’an competition is one of them. She also assured their chiefs, dignitaries and people present that the station is opened to them and is ready to liaise with them in future projects when called upon.

“Being among a Muslim community, we deem it fit to support their activities and grow with the populace as a station hence the birth of the Qur’an competition. We are ready to listen to your counsel and always open to you” she noted at the event.

The Quar’an competition which will be held among 12 Islamic schools within the vicinity within a four week intervals. Four(4) each are put in three (3) groups, where these schools will compete among themselves each week and two top schools in each of the group, will qualify to the finals which will be held on the last week of the month of April.

2. Abnaa’ul Faidat Islamic School – AIGBE TOWN-SABON ZANGO

3. Raheemiya Islamic school – Sabon Zango

4. Hadikatu Deeniya Islamic school – Sabon Zango.

2nd Group
1. Ahyaau Deen Islamic school – Shukura

2 Peace Salaam Islamic School – Shukura

3. Ansarudeen Islamic school – Mataheko

4. Muhammadiya Islamic school – Sabon Zango

3rd Group
1. Ansarudeen Islamic school – Shukura

2. Nurul Hedaya Islamic school – Sabon Zango

3. Nizamiya Islamic school – Sabon Zango

4. Irshaadu Deen Islamic school – Zabarma line

Chief Sulaimaan Wangabi (TCL) and chief Hamidu (Shukura chief) gave their remarks and thanked Amanie Fm and all stakeholders for putting together this wonder project and are looking forward to seeing greater things ahead.
