Her Pain, My Anger – What An Ignorant Person I Am.
I nearly destroyed what I began some months back simply because I do not I understand her pain.
What others feel isn’t equal our feelings or understanding of the other party. Others pains, is their stinking water!
Be careful how you response to your partners pain in any relationship.
My partner was faced with toothache of which I had no idea and her lamentation got me enraged and frustrated at her excruciating pain. That morning, I went out to get her a drug to apply in order to subside the pain.
To no avail, the worse happened. Her mouth was wear off by the application of the medicine. She kept sounding, irritating me but my view about her condition made me think – she is behaving childish.
I personally even insulted her – “stop that your childish things.”
Now the issue is unbearable for her and am realizing my ignorance about the matter. It feels to feel others pain. I tear while writing this article.
Just one question: do you real feel the pain of your partner as claimed by you – I love her or him?
Love is not claimed but decided to act on irrespective the situation at hand. My experience just last few days nearly ruined what I have taken time to built in just a second.
The situation has bedridden her now and I have to go and visit her at home by asking permission from workplace to see her. When I got there, I couldn’t hold my tears.
Hmmmm….
I have regretted my actions and wished I understood her pain from the onset to offer the necessary help to remedy the situation.
Be meticulous about how you treat your partner in or if they even pretend about something, just attend to it and be there for them. Am feeling mentally shipwrecked now!
What we sometimes termed manhood, if care isn’t taken; we may destroy our best gain with ignorance.
I regret for my action!
