Neil Quentin Gordon Parish is a member of UK prime minister Boris Johnson’s Conservative party resigned after admitting watching porn in parliament.
The 65 year old who has been Member of Parliament for Tiverton and Honiton since 2010 and served as a member of the European Parliament for South West England from 1999 to 2009.
The MP admitted to watching porn in parliament on two occasions, one which was accidental and the other deliberate which was deliberate.
He said the first time was accidental after looking at a tractor website where it had a similar name, but the second time -in the House of Commons was deliberate.
Mr Parish said what he did “was absolutely totally wrong”, adding: “I will have to live with this for the rest of my life. I made a huge terrible mistake and I’m here to tell the world.”
He was suspended by the Conservative Party on Friday over the allegation and later resigning.
