Shatta Wale Set For Konekt In Berekum Live With Shatta Wale


Multiple award-winning African dancehall icon, Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah is set to engage with his fans in Berekum with his upcoming event dubbed Konekt In Berekum live with Shatta Wale.

The event which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Royale Unity Lodge Ahinfie in Berekum, one of the historic cities in the Bono Region of Ghana. To attend this event, patrons will have to pay a cool 100 cedis for advance tickets or 120 cedis at the entrance.

Konekt In Berekum live with Shatta Wale, which is a concept that is linked to the latest collection of the Ghanaian superster. The Konekt album, an eight-track project, which features Nigeria’s Tekno, Basiil and Dancehall heavyweight, Bounty Killa was put together in collaboration with Bankuli Entertainment from Nigeria.

The experienced songwriter, singer and music producer has been on an exclusively different level since appointing renowned media personalilty, Samuel Atuobi Baah, widely known as Sammy Flex as his manager. The duo seems a perfect match with influence of Sammy Flex in the media circles as well as his exceptional communication skills is metamorphosising Shatta Wale’s square pegs into round pegs to fit in the round holes.

Shatta Wale, who has released over thirty song within the first three months of this year seems to be the only Ghanaian artiste to attempt the record of the late legendary Highlife musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu. One thing nobody can take away from Shatta Wale is his hardworking nature. His attitude towards work is second to none.

On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, Shatta Wale reassured the people of Berekum of his coming to town. He posted on his Facebook page “Berekum. Get ready this April.”. It is surely going to be a worthy experience for the people of Berekum.

The 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Award artiste of the year is still out for nominations in the award scheme after his encounter with his musical rival, Stonebwoy in the 2019 awards event. The two Ghanaian Dancehall giants almost impaired the beauty of the event with some heightened temperament after Stonebwoy won the Reggae Dancehall artiste of the year for the fifth time in a row.

The event at Royale Unity Lodge Ahinfie is obviously going to open the floodgates for calls from numerous towns, who have missed the energetic performances of the ‘On God’ hitmaker.
