Ghanaian singer, Mr. Drew has asked the media to stop promoting celebrity look-alikes.
In an interview on DGN TV, Mr. Drew explained that a few of them struggled to be recognized but these look – alike figures are getting so much publicity.
“If we stop giving these lookalikes attention all these will stop. For now, there is nothing I can do since we are still giving them attention and making them feel what they are doing is right.
Over the last few months, there have been a trend of celebrity lookalikes popping up on the internet. Aside their uncanny resemblance to the real artistes, they also perform their music at events to the amusement of many.
