Professor Goski Alabi Champions Sustainable Leadership at 10th Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame

The 2025 edition of the Ghana Eminence Awards and the landmark 10th Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame celebration became more than just a recognition of business excellence, it was a call to action, led by the inspirational words of Professor Goski Alabi, a distinguished academic, entrepreneur, and thought leader.

Professor Alabi, in her keynote address, reflected on one of the most pressing challenges facing many indigenous businesses in Africa’s sustainability. She observed that most local businesses struggle to survive beyond 5 to 10 years, often failing to grow into legacy institutions. However, she expressed confidence that the businesses and leaders recognized at this year’s awards had the potential to break this cycle, transform into generational enterprises, and inspire a new model of corporate resilience.

A highlight of the evening was the official induction of the new honourees into the Corporate Hall of Fame. Professor Alabi led the ceremony with a solemn pledge of allegiance, as the awardees committed themselves to the values of integrity, service, and responsibility. This moment symbolized their entry into a distinguished circle of business excellence and reaffirmed the role of ethical leadership in shaping Ghana’s corporate future.

Her words carried a dual weight as guidance and as a challenge. She urged Ghanaian entrepreneurs and executives to rise above the norm, build sustainable institutions, and lead with a moral compass strong enough to inspire the next generation. “The true legacy of leadership is not wealth or power, but the values and structures you leave behind,” she emphasized.

The 10th Corporate Ghana Hall of Fame, carefully designed by Business Executive Media Group, a Ghana-headquartered Pan-African media, corporate events, networking, and business support facilitation organization, brought together chairpersons, executives, and non-executive board members from both the public and private sectors. This gathering, held at the Accra City Hotel on Friday, 22nd August 2025, under the theme “Empowering the Leaders Driving Corporate Ghana Reset,” marked a significant milestone in celebrating a decade of excellence and leadership.
Professor Alabi’s contribution not only set the tone for the anniversary celebration but also reinforced the importance of visionary leadership in an era where corporate Ghana is being reshaped for a more sustainable and inclusive future.
