How A Ga Man Became a world dancing champion, a hidden Story of Adjetey Sowah

Adjetey Sowah, won the National Dancing Championship in the 1980’s and later travelled to the United Kingdom to win the World Dancing Championship in 1986. He hails from Teshie, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra region.

The world dance championship 1986, saw dancers across the world participating for the ultimate but took the courage of Adjetey Sowah (Ghana) to be adjudged the winner for the competition beating the likes of USA, United Kingdom and other 29 finalists (country).

Adjetey Sowah wrote his name in the history books and has since been regarded as one of the best dancers in Ghana’s history.
