In the bustling heart of Accra, Ghana, where the sun casts its golden glow upon the vibrant streets, four friends—Magdalene, David, Margaret, and George—came together with a shared purpose. Their bond extended beyond laughter-filled hangouts and late-night conversations; it transcended the ordinary. This time, they formed the MDMG Foundation, a beacon of compassion that would illuminate the lives of the less privileged.
On a sunny Easter Saturday afternoon, the MDMG Foundation, a compassionate group of four friends, set out on a mission to spread love and kindness. Their destination: Hopeway Ministries, a vibrant orphanage nestled in the heart of Haatso, Accra, Ghana. Armed with goodwill and cars loaded with supplies, they embarked on a journey that would touch hearts and spread love. The children and management at Hopeway Ministries greeted them with wide-eyed wonder. Their laughter echoed in the
courtyard, a symphony of hope. The MDMG team had prepared meticulously. Their cars were laden with supplies—cooked meals, non-perishable food items, toiletries, and a few surprises.
Speaking to the team (Magdalene, David, Margaret, and George) exclusively expressed excitement over their little kindness towards these kids and are encouraged to do more;
“It was an exciting decision that was born out of one of our numerous recreational hangouts. We decided to look beyond ourselves and reach out to others in our community who may not be as privileged as we are. Hopeway Ministries fell on our radar, and by the grace of God, we were able to fellowship with them today”,they said.
The team also expressed their gratitude to all the individuals who helped to make this dream a reality;
“Our highest gratitude goes to God and to all our friends who answered the call and offered their support, both in cash and in kind, we appreciate you. This, hopefully, is the first of many outreaches that we shall embark on as a group and we are hopeful that many more people will answer the call to help when it comes”
